I am so sorry folks, but we are no longer offering our CSA. I like to think I have super powers, but running the apothecary and a CSA would require a clone. If I can't conduct both, giving 110%, then I had to make a choice. We will however have farmstand open ;)

Tamara Buckley Leclerc from Carraig Farm and Apothecary will discuss such subjects as seed starting, tips and tricks for organic gardening, natural insect control and how to harvest your year end bounty. Plans for a low cost DIY light rack will be included in information packets. Please join the Seed Lending Library group on Facebook for up to date information.
Organic compost tea will be available for sale, all money goes to The Townsend Library. $2 a gallon for organic compost tea!
PREORDER YOUR SPRING POULTRY
We are currently taking preorders for our free range meat chickens - usually weigh in at 3.5 to 5 lbs. $3.50 per pound - free range grass/pasture raised and fed diet of veg. scraps, milk, grain (grain contains no animal byproducts or soy) - ready in May dependent upon weight, butchered here on farm. Can pick up fresh or frozen. I will call all customers ahead of time with butchering date.

Spring is around the corner, and although it may not feel quite like it yet, the ducks know it. We have duck eggs available again, getting almost a dozen a day and always have fresh eggs on hand for you. Fantastic for baking. $5 a dozen.

WILD EDIBLES TOUR AT CARRAIG FARM!
We are happy to announce that John Root will be visiting the farm and lead a guided tour on wild edibles this coming June!!! I attended one of his tours years ago and left with a new appreciation of so many wild vegetation varieties. Many thanks to the Ashby Cultural Council for supporting this great event.
