- Barn, swimming pool filter and house heat from solar
- Wood boiler heat in winter with wood from land
- Recycle, recycle, recycle
- New seedlings planted to replace trees used to heat home
- Organic veggies, fruits and milk production
- Pasture rotation
- Wood shavings from stalls used on trails for weed control
Our future goals
- Mushroom propigation
- Be mostly off grid
- Bringing farm education classes and programs for inner
city children directly to schools
Our
addictions (well my addictions)
- Anything 1940 to early 1970 from clothing to furniture
- Spinning, sewing, gardening, painting, reading, creating
- Life isn't about what you get, it's what you give...
- A glass of Spanish Merlot and chocolate
and
of course... My husband who didn't even want a dog when we got married
and 3 amazing children who grow more incredible everyday
