New for 2008 CSA:
dedham dropoff!
We will be adding a Sunday afternoon dropoff in Dedham due to increased membership. We are allowing for a limited number of shares so sign up now if you are interested in Boston area. Dropoff location will be at Barnes Memorial park from 2-4pm each Sunday.

CSA Shares for 2008
Carraig Farm is proud continue its CSA share program. Growing season will be June through October.

Various crops will include organic lettuce, potatoes, organic bread, beets, squash, tomatoes, herbs, beans, broccoli and spinach. Also included will be some unusual heirloom varieties and one bar a month of our own goat's milk soap. This years new addition will be edible flowers along with new varieties of thai and chinese veggies... Bread is available for purchase along with free range eggs and compost tea. CSA members are also given first purchase of organic lamb and poultry.

Cost is $100 a month for a full share (enough to feed family of 4) or $60 a month for a half share (enough to feed family of 2) We have a limited number of shares so please reserve space early. Pickups are available Sunday from 10am to 1pm or during week by appointment. Shares must be prepaid for season. A full share is $400, half share is $240.

Free range poultry will be available end of June. Whole chickens only. This year we are happy to be raising Delaware, a heritage breed and a Slow Food Arc of Taste winner. Free range organic fed. $3.50 per pound. Can be picked up fresh on farm.

LAMB AVAILABLE IN AUGUST
Preorders for lamb cuts in 2008 are now being taken. Please call for cut availability and pricing. All cuts are vaccum sealed and flash frozen for freshness.

To keep our stock healthy and happy also means letting go of some animals and bringing in new ones. From time to time we do sell animals such as our sheep or goats (female and male) especially after lambing season.

Because we care about our animals barn checks are always made before an animal is placed. If you are interested please contact us for any information. Animals full history including shots, feeding schedule, worming and care will be included along with any registration papers.

We ask that if you, for any reason, ever need to get rid of your animal you return it to us at Carraig Farm...there is enough animal abuse out there and we don't want our animals to become part of that statistic.

—A 50% deposit is required to hold for a limited, agreed time.
—Delivery for 2007 will start August/September 2007 and to be completed by end October 2007.
—Information will be supplied on registration and memberships of NCC organizations along with registration papers if animal was previously registered.
